RBR20 keeps resetting
Hi, over the last few months I have had a very annoying problem with my RBR20 router.
On a daily basis (& sometimes up to 3 times a day), the Orbi router will flash white for 30 seconds, then pulse white for about a minute. During this time, my 2 satellites are showing the pink light and I have no WiFi to connect to.
Given I am working from home permanently, and spent most of my work day on MS Teams calls, it is unhelpful so ive had to plug an ethernet cable into my laptop until I can resolve the problem.
About a month back, I updated to the latest firmware which didn't stop this issue from occurring. Furthermore, I tried changing the channels the WiFi uses from the automatic channels to one's with less usage in my area. This reduced the number of times the Orbi router rebooted initially (only 1 in 3 days), but it is now back to happening daily with no warning.
The Orbi router is stood next to my ISPs (Sky broadband) modem and cabelled in, and I have disabled the WiFi network on the cable modem.
Has anyone else experienced a similar problem? At present I cannot rely on the Orbi solution and running an ethernet cable upstairs isn't overly appealing as a long term solution.
