RBR50 dead. Substitute new Orbi compatible model
I have an Orbi RBR50 router with 3 satellites and unfortunately now it is dead. I sent to a technical assistance and no chances to relive it.
So I’m wondering if it has another model from the new Orbi line-up which would be compatible with the satellites.
Any guesses ?
Thanks to all.
Are we talking about RBS50 satellites?
It isn't easy to work out which routers and satellites work together. I have never found a simple chart. Only something like this:
Are older Orbi WiFi satellites compatible with Orbi WiFi 6 Systems? | Answer | NETGEAR Support
An obvious answer is that another RBR50 would work.
While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:
Orbi - NETGEAR CommunitiesYou will find more users of the RBR50 there.

Thanks. Sadly to say, I was expecting that. As I don’t live in the US, it is difficult for me to acquire another RBR50. We don’t have many sellers here and prices are always in the heights.
There may be other routers that will accept those satellites.
Try the Orbi section.
