RBR50 with 2 Satellites looking to add AC2200 Voice & Mesh WiFi Extender (RBS40V-200) Orbi Tri-band

Hey All, 

 

I have seen some reviews about the AC2200 Voice & Mesh WiFi Extender (RBS40V-200) Orbi Tri-band Smart Speaker & Mesh WiFi Extender, 2.2Gbps   Not working with other setups. 

 

I was wondering would the AC2200 Voice & Mesh WiFi Extender (RBS40V-200) Orbi Tri-band Smart Speaker & Mesh WiFi Extender, 2.2Gbps be compatible with my RBR50 in AP mode? Would I just be able to turn that device into AP mode and add it to the other setup?

    The RBSS40V is compatible with the RBR50. 

    It'll work in orbi mode. 

     

    Not sure what exactly you're refering to with access point mode. If the RBS40V has access point or if your RBR50 is in access point mode. 

    I've ran my RBR50 in access point mode with the RBS40V.
