I would wait until black Friday sales or cyber-Monday or even end of year after Christmas, then you can get what you want hopefully on sale. Just because something is EOL, doesn't mean you have to upgrade right away, especially if you are not having issues.
Hi, I'm generally leery in that way, too. It's a crap shoot. With my luck, I'll get the 1-in-a-1000 dud. I'm not the savviest of techies. Wouldn't want to mess with all the troubleshooting. I'm too busy protesting. Many thanks.
