R6300 wired computer cannot see wirelss computers
Sometime in the last couple of months I lost the ability to connect to my laptop on the wireless network. The laptop can see the desktop mapped drives through the wireless network.. I have tried...
- Jan 14, 2018Permissions on sub-folders do NOT necessarily inherit the permissions assigned in parent folders. You may have to explicitly enable sharing on the Desktop folder. Anyway, I suggest you take this to a Windows forum where you may be able to get expert help.

I added Everyone to all the shared drives on both computers and now can see almost all files and folders. I still cannot see the desktop folder in the Network. But if I drill down to the C drive and click on the User aI can then see all the folders but can only acces some of them. Apparently wht is shared in the Homegroup sharing options page.
I believe this is always how it ws before.
