ReadySHARE Printer Utility Version 2.36 failure

Very frustrated. Trying to get readyshare printing to work on my AC 1750 R6400v2 router using my Macbook Pro running MacOS 10.14.5. I run v 2.36 and it seems to install but when I do the required restart I get the messsage that installation is incomplete, reinstall. I tried several times and gave up in disgust. Tried using the MyNetgear portal but it said I had no registered products. I had registered. Tried and it said something went wrong. This might be my last Netgear purchase.
