Red Ethernet Lite
When I plug in my internet phone the ethernet LED (#4) turns and stays red. Does this indicate a problem? Is it OK to ignore it? Is there a fix (other than unplugging it)?
red/amber indicate the connection is 10/100mbps and not gigabit.
Doubtful that your phone is gigabit as most VOIP phones don't need a gigabit connection.
Have you checked the phone's specs?
