What problem?
That could mean many things.
What new device?
What app? Android/iOS?
The AC2400 is a "Smart WiFi Router". It has nothing to do with the Nighthawk App. But it may need the right firmware to support the app.
You will have to say a bit more before anyone can begin to understand the problem you have.
