Reset router
Hi The router cannot be reset. When I push the reset button and it restarts, the routerlogin page asks me for user and password. It must be admin and password. But it does not approve them and force...
which router is it?
did you push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while it was powered on? Many just click the button.
I hold the button for 10 seconds while power one. It is C3700v2.
unhook the coax from the modem then try a 30/30/30 reset.
push and hold reset for 30 seconds while powered on.
power it off and continue to hold reset for another 30 seconds
power it back on and continue to hold reset for another 30 seconds.
So a total of 90 seconds holding reset.
then connect the coax back to it and attempt login/setup.
