Router Mode

I've got a several year old Netgear C3000 modem/router and somehow inadvertently set it to router mode which of course disabled the modem mode.  So now I can't connect to the intenet to repair it.  I...

    Thanks for haning in there on this one!  Regarding page 7, the item labeled "WiFi On/Off button" has an LED adjacent to it that used to be lit when Netgear was performing its wireless router function.  It no longer illuminates.  I have unplugged the device for 30 minutes, I have pressed the on/off switch at the bottom of the unit as shown on page 9 of the manual.  Each time the unit comes back up, it is still lacking both the illuminated wireless LED and of course it does not perform the wireless function.  All I wanted to accomplish was to return the unit to its factory default settings which as I recall had the unit operating as both a mofdem and router.  

     

    I'd like to be able to do that but in the meantime, I've attached a spare router to the C3000 and it works, so now the C3000 is acting as solley a modem while the attached router does the rest.

     

    That's the  best I can do.  Happy to be told what I'm doing wrong, but I suppose it's possible that the router portion of the C3000 is shot.  Thanks again for your effort.
