Router Problem with WIFI

I bought a new router R6850 AC2000 and installed it correctly and all is well now. Thank you for your help.
You have the R6400?
What modem/gateway is it connected to?
What firmware is running on it?
Is this a new setup?
Or what changed to cause this?

Is this a new setup? No, but I had to reset the router because of a storm.
Or what changed to cause this? If I need to cconnect a new TV or cell phone, I have to reboot the router before it will work on that device.On my main TV, it says "Connected, no Internet".

what gateway/modem is the R6400 connected to?
Yes, I know. They have an antenna on a tall pole on my house. It has a cat five cable coming into a small box that looks like a power supply for a laptop. From tere another cat 5 cable goes to the input of the R6400. There is no lable on their box.
