Router
I need to update the new firmware. The directions tell me to connect my computer to the router with an ethernet cable. It is wireless and I don't have an ethernet cable. How do I do the update?
we usually recommend doing it over a hardwired connection. You can do it over wireless.
but we recommend it hardwired because if we see corrupt firmware issues, it tends to be done over wireless or through the app.
Options?
Make a backup and give it a try wireless.
buy a cheap usb----ethernet adapter so you can hardwire in
