Set Time on WNDR4500V2
Hi,
I have a WNDR34500 & WNDR4500_V2 set in AP mode. Fixed IP is set per device, Get internet IP from ISP, Get DNS automatically from ISP.
The correct time zone is set and I've tried with & without daylight savings time checked as I noticed another post mentioned enabling DST as an issue. Using Firmware V1.0.0.60_1.0.38 (latest).
How can I force the router to get the correct time from the time server? The current date is 1/1/2003
Hi Elaine,
I have flashed the firmware with the new version and that didnt overcome the problem. I did however idcentify the issue when checking all the settings. The settings were correct, however when the router is not set in Access Point mode via the check box, the time will not update properly. Once I checked the A/P mode an d saved the new setting, the time updated.

Have you tried re-flashing the firmware?
How about hard reset?
1. With the unit powered on, press and hold the reset button on the back of unit for 30seconds.
2. Without releasing the reset button, unplug the unit and hold reset for another 30 seconds.
3. Power on the unit while STILL pushing the reset button and count for another 30 seconds before letting it go.See if it will help.
