signal in garage

i have a modei 6230 modem/router in my house .can i run ethernet cable to my garage and hook it to a router that would give me better radio reception and also be able to run a tv wireless from it ????

    If you are talking Wi-Fi radio reception the basic answer is yes.  If you are talking AM or FM radio reception, the answer is no.

     

    The second router you connect in your garage would need to be configured as a wired access point with new SSID's and passwords.
