Slow upload speeds R6400

Hello all,

 I recently got some security camears (2) through Vivint and all was working fine until this past weekend. I'm constantly getting below  1mbps for upload speeds and over 100mpbs for download. I have done a factory reset last night and after a few test all working fine, was getting 7-10 mpbs upload; however my vivint pannel was not connected to the WiFi. I connected the pannel this morning and now i'm back down to 1 or below 1mpbs for upload. Now not sure if the cameras are the problem but I'm starting to think this maybe part of the problem.

 

I  am V1.0.1.70_1.0.44 firmware and speed test are being done on my desktop that is hardwired. Any ideas on how I could get my uploads closer to 10mpbs?

    What modem/gateway do you have? 

    You have the R6400?

    When the security camera's aren't connected, your speeds are in the 7-10mbps range? 

    But once your security camera's are connected your speeds drop? 

    Have you tested that a couple times to confirm? 
    If so, it indicates your security cameras are using a lot of your upload speed to upload video
