Slows speeds on VPN (RBR50)

When connecting to my company's VPN, my internet speeds go down to nearly zero. On my laptop, I'm getting 500+ mpbs download and upload before connecting to VPN. Once I connect to VPN, my speeds goes down to 3mpbs download and 0.2mpbs upload. I have fiber with gig service from Cox. This has been happening for about 2-3 weeks (prior to that I've been working at home since March with no VPN problems - I haven't made any changes since March to my ISP service or any of my hardware).

I hardwired my laptop directly into my ONT, and had no problems with speed on VPN. Only when connecting to my router. 

I tested my connection on various other ISP/router combinations and VPN seemed to work.

Any ideas as to why my speeds are nearly zero on VPN? Since my VPN works when connecting directly to my ONT, is there something that has changed with my RBR50 Orbi router perhaps?
