FWIW, you are posting this in the wrong forum area (this is for ReadyNAS, not routers or cable modems).
Are you using an app-specific password in the camera and DVR for gmail? Google changed their security settings a couple months ago, and I believe you will not be able to use your normal gmail credentials with the camera or DVR.
