Spurious email for password change
Hello, looking for some info if possible? Today I recieved an unsolicited email stating I had requested a password change request on my Netgear equipment. Now as far as I am aware none of my kit is currently NetGear badged. I have ecently installed a new Ethernet switch but that was TP Link. My Router is BT.
The link given was https://www.netgear.com/sso/reset/password.aspx then a whole lot of other stuff, including my email address
Does anyone know of his is a valid netgear URL or are they aware of any phishing scams based on Netgears support?
Thanks for any advice
Regards
Mike

registered some gizmo in the past, and then got rid of it, then Netgear
might not know what you have or don't.> The link given was https://www.netgear.com/sso/reset/password.aspx

Netgear site. Whether it's good for anything is a different question.
