Traffic Meter Showing Massive Upload

My internet has been dropping frequently this week, so I went to check some things on the router app.  In the traffic meter, it is showing my uploads this week have been over 170,000 TB (terrabytes!).  I don't think that's even possible.  Is this an error in the traffic meter?  Do I have a virus?  Is this something to be concerned about?
