Trying to fully bridge BELL HUB3000 using R7000
Hi,
Have bought a Netgear R7000 to fully replace my Bellfibe modem HUB3000 I got Fibe tv & internet with them I also bought a MC220L converter to fully bypass their modem using this video on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LXAF-fQJHqE but he's using Asus interface wich is not exaclty the same as the Netgear one I've had my user B1 XXXX from bell and also have the password as well. Here's what i've already done but LAN port isn't working at all.
I went into the advanced setup of the R7000 then clicked on the Internet Setup then clicked yes on the questions asking if the internet connection requiere a login, then choose PPPOE then I've enter login B1XXXX and then the associated password, I left the connection to dial on demand then I went to DNS server section below and clicked on Use these DNS Server Primary I've enter the Google one as showned on the video link 8.8.8.8 Sec one I've enter 8.8.4.4 and Use default mac adress. If i'm staying connected into my HUB3000 port and plug into the internet port if the Netgear I'm having internet into port 1 Netgear router but if I'm bypassing it using the TP-Link MC220L instead of using the HUB 3000 i'm loosing the entire internet connection either LAN & WAN. If on using the WAN on the Netgear setting with those configuration (Using HUB3000 plugged into Internet port form the Netgear the wifi is fonctionnal in the entire house but not the Lan port) Are you able to help me out we this or I'll still have to use the modem and return the MC220L ?
P.S. I'm french but the community setting seems to be setup in english only so if there's some french people who understand my problem here I'm encouraging them to reply if not I would probably be able to make it either way.
Thanks
