Turning off guest network
After turning off my guest network, none of my other devices could connect to the router. The message on our phones said it couldn't connect because of an "authentication error". I turned the guest network back on and all the devices automatically reconnected to the router.
Why is this happening? I'd like to delete the guest network since my guests are gone. Confusing how this would have affected the access from the other devices.

How was Guest Network disabled? On the routers web page?
Should be able to disable it there. I would forget any saved wifi profiles on the devices after disabling the Guest Network.
Then enure that you have WPA2 and AES only set on the router. Ensure the password valid is correct and no using too many special characters. Then try to connect your devices to the main wifi SSID name.
I turned it off on the Guest Network Settings page by unclicking the "enable guest network" box.
I didn't have any of my devices connected to the guest network. As soon as I unclick the enable guest network box I can see them all drop off the network map. When I check it again they all connect. I didn't change the password or WPA2 or AES settings on the regular network or password. I forgot the regular network on several of the devices and they still won't connect unless the guest network is enabled. The funny thing is I've had the router for years and never used the guest network until this past weekend. Now it seems I can only use it if I leave that network in place.
I even found that if I turn off SSID broadcast it also kicks off all my other devices.
I'd factory reset the router and set up from scratch with a web browser. Once it's setup, make sure the Guest Network if OFF and the main wifi network is configured. As a quick test, disable WPA2 on the router and see if the devices connect with open wifi, if so, go in and enable WPA2 and AES.
