Unable to Connect to Wireless

Got home from vacation and turned my computer on.  Noticed that my Ooma phone, which connects by wireless, was not working. Checked laptop computer that also uses wireless and it was not working. Got on Netgear Genie and everything looked fine except for the wireless box which said "warning, off."  Checked the Netgear router and saw that the "i" was not lit up, so unplugged the router and started it again. Then the "i" came up and turned green. Network still not working, so put the router back to factory settings (twice). The my wireless network still not showing up. Everything on the router looks fine, as does the settings on my Netgear Genie. I've had this router for a little over two years. Any chance I need to get a new one?

  • Thank you for your help. Unfortunately, this article did not turn my situation around so I bought a new router. This one worked. Yay! Thanks again.

Is this a router with a physical on/off switch for the wifi?

The model number is WNR2000v4. And yes, there is a button on the back to turn on the wireless, which I did turn on after I sent my last email and it turned blue. Still not seeing the wireless show up. Thanks for any help you can give me.
