Update router firmware
This entire process has got to be one of the most difficult to navigate. All I want to do is check and install any available firmware for my R6220 router. However, I can't get past the administrative login in (admin and (default) password do not work, not matter what I try). Thus, I can't go anything with the router on my computer or mobile phone. What to do? Thanks.

What does "do not work" mean? These things usually put out error messages or some other clues.
What are you using to check the router?
You can either use the Netgear Genie for your mobile device or the browser.
What modem/gateway sits between the router and the Internet?
