ouch. N600 (while still not a model) is a pretty older standard.
If it was me, I'd take a look at amazon and look up "netgear renewed".
Several different things come up.
You could pickup a mesh MK63 system for around $100.
Less if you only needed a router with the RAX50 for around $80.
Several options that would be a massive upgrade from an N600 router.
