USB Control Center doesn't detect printer nor storage after upgrade from Win10 to Win11

Router: R7960
Windows 11 (now)
HP 7440 series printer

This was working in Windows 10 and stopped right after upgrade to Windows 11. Can't see the printer nor the HDD storage drive in USB Control Center anymore.

Using the latest Readyshare Printer utility v1.36 (on Netgear's support page)

I know that the problem is not the printer driver, because I can print when connected via wired USB connection to the computer.

I have already checked in Windows Defender list of apps that have been given access and it shows "Control Center" listed there (Also, I specifically allowed access when I saw the pop up window asking me if I want to allow it)

Anybody encounter this problem and have a solution?

Called Netgear support but they had no idea what I was talking about - said that "the printer that worked in Win10 should still work in Win11".

I have no problems with ReadySHARE in Windows 11. Printers, USB drives and so on, all work as expected.

    But this is an R7800.

That's  my experience. Not much has changed between Windows 10 and 11.

I can second this. I have a HP 2200 Laserjet (pretty old, but printing cost is phenomenal. Ink lasts for a long time, like more then 5000 prints).

On Windows 10 it works flawless. We updated a notebook to Windows 11 and now the printer will not appear within the USB-Control Center. It did before in Windows 10.

Printer can be used when connecting directly via USB.

I tried already - installing / reinstalling USB-COntrol Center, Updating Firmware on the Router, connecting / disconnecting printer - both on PC directly and on Notebook, and of course restarting the router (after FW update, and also another time).

PS: Seems like this post solved my issue:

    - Edited Access List to Allow all new, but manually added all already known ones, and - I think that is the more important one - edited security Settings for Netgear APP for all Users:
New Setting: Compatibility mode Windows 7 ( I dont know if necessary though), and to run as Admin for all users (this is the more important one I assume).
