Using R6300v2 with ATT wireless home phone and internet MF279

       If you can run a cable to a better place, then configuring the
    R6300v2 as a wireless access point might help.  Visit
    http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look for
    Documentation.  Get the User Manual.  Look for "Wireless Access Point".

       For another possibility without the cable connection, look for "Set
    Up the Router in Bridge Mode".


    Now with it set up as a "Wireless Access Point", will that allow the wired portion of the R6300v2 to run as an ethernet switch? Is there an additional setting for that?
