    What do you mean by does your modem accept video signals?  Please explain fully exactly what you are trying to do?

      I am trying to connect my xfinity tv box wirelessly to my cable. In other words, I’m trying to eliminate the cable coming out of the wall and hooking up to my xfinity box. I have heard you can connect to cable wirelessly but I don’t know if my netgear will do that.

        That is probably a better question for your cable provider.  Personally, I don't know of a cable provider that offers that functionality.  I think you will find that you need that cable connecting to your cable box.
