WAC510 Transfer to Different Account
I purchased a WAC510 access point last year and installed it in my daughters house. I made the mistake of registering the device under my Netgear account. It's not a big deal except that I get the notifications from Netgear when there is new firmware for the device. I would like to transfer the device to my daughter's account so she gets the notifications rather than me. I can't just register the device again under her account... I get a message that the device has already been registered. I can find no way accomplishing a transfer on the Netgear website and I can't contact their support because the device is outside the 6 month purchase window. Any suggestions?
You have to email them to get it off your account. In the registration FAQ theres an email address to send it to.
It can take a while to get done though (fyi)

A feature that Netgear removed from MyNetgear a few years ago.
Nice to see sanity restored.
