WGR614v7. Changing encryption type from WEP to WPA2.
Can I change the encryption type from WEP to WPA2 without changing any other settings (such as username or password)? My new security cameras require WPA2 level encryption on my router. Thanks
- In short, yes on many. But some explicitly require you need to tell them what encryption you use by selecting the right option they provide

- Thank you for the advice. I will change the encryption level on this router until I get a new one, and hope everything stays online.
- If not, usually only thing you need to change is the level on the device. No need to re-enter passwords or so
