WGR614v9 wireless bridge to wired

One last shot.  Can it be done?  Has anyone figured this out?  I want to use my WGR614v9 as a wireless bridge from my wireless into a wired network.  I have an xfinity wireless router, want to receive signal and redstribute with the netgear router to my wired devices.  Everything says no, but I am really hoping someone here says yes.

    even if you could make it work, it'd be slow to the point of being almost useless today unless you were on dial-up or slow dsl. The WGR614v9 is a wireless g device and is based on a 17 year old router. 

    And if you could make it work (which i doubt) you'd have to do it with outdated security. I wouldn't do it and I can't recommend it.
