Which wired access point works well with N600 WNDR3400 v.1
I am looking to add at wired access point from my N600 WNDR3400. Any suggestions?

If you need a wireless access point and have cables installed, there is no reason to go for a wireless extender. Look at an WAC124, WAC505, ... these are dedicated wireless APs.

A good place to narrow the search is probably Netgear's product pages, where you can feed in your needs, things like the size of your property, for example.

Thank you. I have looked at the AC1200-Dual Band WiFi Range Extender. Hard to get any tech specs if it will work with my above router.

Your first message said that you were looking into getting a "wired access point". That isn't a term that I understand or one that you will find in Netgear's documentation.
If you mean a "wireless access point" with something wired to your router as a wireless access point (AP), then any extender that you pick should work.
Your link got out to the EX6200 (AC1200 is not a Netgear model number. It is a label that Netgear, and others, attach to hardware to describe wifi speeds.) There is support for the EX6200, including manuals, at the end of this link:
>>>EX6200 | AC1200 WiFi Range Extender | NETGEAR Support<<<
See the section Use the Extender in Access Point Mode.
The device will also work as wireless repeater, acting as a wireless bridge between your router and other wifi clients.
