Wifi Camera will no longer connect to network

Netgear AC1750 R6400 Smart Dual Band Router firmware V1.0.1.70_1.0.44 updated today with Comcast / Xfinity internet service and Arris TM822 modem

Hello,

The wireless router stopped working a month or so ago and when repowered, it worked again.  However, our Vivitar IPC-113 security camera would never connect again.  After much research and calls, I noted:

-It will connect to my verizon phone hotspot without issue

-I turned off all 5GHz broadcasts which only left the single 2.4GHz wifi network to choose from.  No luck.

-The MAC address for the camera shows up under connected devices and is listed as "allowed"

-The SSID for the 2.4 and 5 have different names and different passwords.  No luck.

-I even tried the guest network with different network name and password.  No luck.

-Security options are correctly set to WPA2-PSK [AES]

-Turned off the 20/40MHz coexistince.  No luck.

Any input would be appreciated.

Hey! Sorry for the very late response. We were tied up in backtracking cases to make sure nothing is amiss. Do you still require assistance with this query?

I assume the camera was working fine before. Have you tried using a different firmware? Try changing the security option.

Do you have a different router that you can try?
