I just tried to flash it but it is coming up that the firmware download is corrupted

what is telling you its corrupted? 

If you're able to go through the extenders interface, then you don't need tftp. 

So whats telling you this?

    sorry for lack of info TFTP tells me after I try to upgrade firmware just sits there telling me failed

      many things can go wrong with tftp. Sometimes you have to try a few times. Watch the video to ensure you're doing it properly.

      and if tftp doesn't work, try nmrp flash.
