Wifi networks

Hi all, what I would like to ask is is there any routers that I can use to get a connection to my daughters wifi network who lives round the corner from me, I do remember having a router a long time ago that did this but can't remember which one, thanks in advance.

    How far around the corner? Feet? 

    A wifi bridge would be something that could work but if distances are too great then the unit wouldn't connect.

    1. how far is it? 

    2. do you have line of sight? 

    3. what is between the 2 buildings? 

    4. what did you use before? (gives us an idea of what worked)
