Wifi router help
Upgraded my wifi from 500 to 1 gig and my wifi speed is all over the place, one time its 500-600 other times 100-200. Getting consistent 600+ on ethernet. Was told my router was the issue ac2600 rx450...
As the referenced article points out, WiFi6 has a theoretical maximum bandwidth that is close to 1GB/sec, provided that the device being used to measure speed is capable of WiFi6 and 2x2 MIMO. and is very close to the router.
It would help to know:
- what device is being used to measure internet speed
- how far it is from the router
Iphone x and a 14. Within 5 feet. Both using speedtest app not via browser
