WIFI router not turning on (Model: WNR2000v5)
I am trying to connect my wifi router (Model: WNR2000v5) to the computer and to the rest of the devices in the house. The power cable and ethernet cables are all plugged in the correct spots. I push in the power button and nothing starts. On the computer, the troubleshooting guide says an ethernet cable is plugged in. The router is a new replacement, yet nothing turns on. I also bought a new ethernet cable that is flat and black. Could the cable be the problem?
Try a different power adapter of the same voltage, the power adapter could be the culprit. If it doesn't turn on with another working power adapter then the router must be defective.
