Can anyone help on how I can keep my wifi network protected after a power outage? After any power outage, my network becomes unsecured
It could be that the router is degrading and it needs to be replaced.

Routers and wireless access points are supposed to keep the configuration over a power failure (of course). This includes access as well as WiFi SSID, WiFi PSK, ...
The Netgear "default" response (by Netgear as well as by other community members) might be taking notes on all device settings, restore to factory defaults, and re-configure from scratch.
Lack of any details - not easy to help.

You may save a copy of your configuration by doing back up and restore.

What's the model of the router you have?
- Nash6509AspirantHad our internet technician come by and check our router and advised us the router needed to be changed. We have the wndr3700v2. He recommended anything AC1750 or higher
