The C3700 is a dual band router. So it'll have a 2.4ghz band and a 5ghz band. many times displayed as SSIDNAME and SSIDNAME-5G Maybe your windows update fixed a driver issue where both bands were working on the comptuer your on?
You can login to your router and check your wifi SSID names and password. maybe the 2.4ghz radio was disabled, went bad, some other issue.

Here's the support site with manual, troubleshooting, and install guides.

This would also be the support site for modem/router combo devices.
