Wireless turning itself off

The orientation of your router might be different from the one that I might be thinking.
But for clarity, do you see lights on 2.4GHz and 5GHz?
If you already have pushed the reset button and if those lights are still off then you might have a bad router.
Possible that the wireless portion of it got busted.

Just to verify, what's the exact model number of the NETGEAR router?
Did you try to factory reset the router?

thanks. no I don't have those lights showing.
I think it's shot. I realized things had been acting up, it's coincidence that I tried to hook up with my new tablet ad it died st about the same time.
