Did you try other security? Will it exhibit the same issue?
If yes, kindly rollback your firmware to version 1.0.1.2.
Once done, reset the router and reconfigure it to get back the connection.
Let me know what happens.

Sorry for the delayed response, but I tried other security and yes, it exhibits the same issue. How do I rollback the firmware on the router.

Rolled the router back to Firmware Version 1.0.1.2 and performed a factory reset, that fixed the problem

weswiliamsjr i have v1.0.1.2 and then update to fw v1.0.1.4 but my wifi devices can still connect to 2.4Ghz with WPA2 security.
try to upgrade again to v1.0.1.4 then reset the device to factory default. You may try changing the SSID and set a manual channel and see if it will work.- weswiliamsjrAug 08, 2016Aspirant
Up until a bad storm last night i hadn't had any issues once I rolled my router version back to default. i am now on V1.0.1.4 because I was having the same issue of not being able to connect to the 2.4ghz with a passcode on.
