WNDR3700 reset to factory settings on its own
My wife contacted my while I was away from home for an hour because ROKU wouldn't connect. After returning home, I noted that my SSID had reset to NETGEAR and the connection was no longer secured with my WPA password.
I'm well past the 90 day and year warranties. Is this a sign of nefarious hackers or equipment failure? It makes me nervous that it happened without any user intervention.
Any advice/help is greatly appreciated.

Just change the SSID and password to something you want.
Maybe the device was reset to the factory defaults somehow.
