WNDR3700v3 Possibly Bricked
I have a very similar to issue to this thread here (the system says that I should create a new thread rather than to revive the old one, so here I am). The link to the instructions for how to upload ...

Power LED is a solid amber for the entire time. It never switches to a blinking amber LED at all. It's always solid amber and remains that way no matter how long I keep it powered on for (e.g. > a day).
That does not suggest corrupt firmware. That would be "Blinking Green". So faffing around with resets may get you nowhere. Check the power adapter.
But I'm with plemans. Don't waste time an a 15-year old box. Find something that will do what you want the WNDR3700v3 to do.
Just another user with time on their hands.

Power adapter seems to be fine as there are no visible signs of damage nor anything like that and it is also able to power up other devices as well (that also uses 12V input and the same size barrel jack as well).
As I mentioned, I've got the Airport Express working right now and I can add a switch for more RJ45 ports, but the idea was that if I can do it with this router (as a "one-box" solution rather than a "two-box" solution), then it would be a plus.
If it doesn't work, I have an alternative solution that I can deploy already.
I might try and see if I can dig up/out my Linksys WRT54G (which is an even older device), but if it works -- that can also be an alternative solution to this dead N600 now as well.
Thank you, everybody, for all of your help and support. It is greatly appreciated.
