WNDR4500 WAN to LAN speed slow

I recently upgraded my EPB FiberOptics from 100mbps to 1Gbps internet speed.

I have a Lenovo wired desktop server running windows 10 upgraded from 8.1.

Previously the router speed test was at or actually above the 100mpbs speed I was receiving. Now that I have the 1gig speed it will only do about 450.

I know it is a router issue because I can connect the server directly to the modem line and it pulls 960's to 980's consistantly.

I have rebooted the router, powered it off then on, but have not changed any settings.

Any help is appreciated. I need to the speed up to increase my server client traffic.

Do you have the latest firmware installed on your router?

Try fw upgrade then reset and reconfigure.

    See if that helps.

  • I have the latest firmware installed.

I will do the reset and report back
  • The factory reset fixed the issue. Must of been QoS. It's the only thing I had turned on.

But with 1Gpbs who needs QoS lol
