My router has firmware version 76 loaded but the router shows version 78 is available. It downloads a zip file to my computer but I don't know how to load that into my router.

Best to use a wired Pc and web broswer and unpack the .zip file, then log into the routers web page and use the routers FW update web page to send the unpacked FW file to the router.
