WNR2000v4 firmware update fail
wireless stopped working and was unable to connect to the internet anymore. after getting it all disconnected found that the ethernet controller on the computer had been disabled. easy enough to fix ...

Try the more severe reset:
- Press reset for 30 seconds
- Keep pressing reset while removing power
- Keep pressing reset for another 30 seconds while apply power
Alternatively, if that doesn't work, try this:

I had actually tried the 30-30-30 after posting and it didn't seem to work(didn't even reset the existing settings already on the router)
However the second tool worked on the first try. got it set up again and good to go.
