Hey antinode and michelkenword, thank you very much for your effort and your quick answers!! I reseted the router again now and set up the configurations manually. In an other Forum I read that I have to use static IP adresses because of the "ancient" motorola modem, so I used them. and it worked!!! Yeah!!!!
Thank you for your help!

Thank you for the link! my Internet LED shows orange. And I tried to put off my modem and the router and I used the the cable from netgear, but still it kind of doesn't lead me to the routerlogin.net page. I can use already the router's wifi and visit other internet sites. The IP adress is: 192.168.113.254 , when I tipe "ipconfig" into CMD.

Go back to basics. Adding a new router can confuse the poor things. Reset the router and rebuild the network from the ground up.
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
- Turn off and unplug the modem.
- Turn off the modem router and computers.
- Plug in the modem and turn it on. Wait 2 minutes.
- Turn on the modem router and wait 2 minutes.
- Turn on the computers.
If that doesn't work, then at least you know you have done the basics and can investigate other possibilities.

To what is the router's Internet port connected?
Visit http://www.netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and
look for Documentation. Get the User Manual. It explains what the LED
indicators mean.

I don't understand that. What, exactly, is "my modem"? What,
exactly, is connected to what?

A clear description of what you did, and a clear description of what
happened when you did it, would be more helpful than what anything "kind
of doesn't" do.

Really? Then what's the problem?

Whose "The IP adress" is that? The Windows system? The gateway?
The DNS server? It would be more helpful to copy+paste the whole
"ipconfig" report here.
I would not expect to see an address like 192.168.113.254 associated
with a WNR2000v5. Are you connecting to the WNR2000v5, or are you
connecting to your "my modem"(+router?)?- mighty_warriorDec 10, 2017Aspirant
I reseted now the router, switched off the laptop, the modem and the router, waited 2 min, switched on the modem waited 2min, schwitched on the router and waited 2 min, schwitched on the laptop. Then it led me to the "www.routerlogin.com" when I opened the browser. Then I could decide between acces point modus or standard modus. I choose acces point modus. The next step was about the IP Adress and said start your browser again. I did it and tried to visit "www.routerlogin.net". Didn't work. No Internet connection anymore.

-> that was the IP Adress of the gateway.

Why did you put it into AP mode? Do you have a modem that also acts as a router?
