192.168.1.1 redirects to Password reset, always

After 'Reset' i try to login to admin the Router

192.168.1.1 redirects after i enter admin and password, to Password reset

routerlogin.net redirects, after i enter admin and password, to Password reset

 - can never get passed the login page to access the management webpage like we used to

also, curiously, after using the password on the bottom of the router to login

to Nighthawk app, i set up a new WIFI  and entered a new password

and, although i 'connected to the 'new' WIFI using that password on the IOS NIGHTHAWK app,

the other devices (IOS)  all use the admin password as WIFI password ??

the IOS Nighthawk app actually cannot do anything useful !

what's going on ?
