2.4GHx LED not lit on R7000

Hi all:

My 5 year old R7000 router appears to be working fine but the 2.4GHz LED is not lit.  I can connect on the 2.4GHz band so I'm wondering if it's just that single LED gone bad, but I've never seen anything like this before.  Anyone confirm this possibility or have any other suggestions?  I've restarted the router, it's got the most recen firmware (V1.0.11.126_10.2.112).

Thanks.

If the 2.4ghz is working and devices connect/operate fine on it, I wouldn't worry about it

  • sktn77a  As plemans says, don't worry about it.

I've disabled my led's anyway, just one showing. It's not like you sit there looking at them all night.

Has a full power OFF of the router been performed by pulling the power adapter for 1 minute?

Might try a factory reset as last resort but if it's working, can leave it alone.
