401 Unauthorized Access

I updated my nighthawks firmware last night when I went to log back into it I got 401 Unauthorized Access to this resource is denied, your client has not supplied the correct authentication. I tried to reset it to factory setting but it didn't reset to factory I tried for 5 times to reset it. What can i do to fix it.

  • It finally let me login to it in the website to set it back to factory setting I tried the reset button 4-5 times and it didn't go back to factory setting that way I think the firmware messed up bc it was late at night when I updated the router

    Welcome to the community, brandon0705

Are you directly connected to the router with an Ethernet cable?

If not, kindly directly connect using an Ethernet cable and access the GUI.

Did you also try to delete your browser settings? Cleared cache and cookies?

How about trying a different web browser?

    Use a different computer too.

Try to use a paper clip when pushing the reset button. You'll notice that the power light will be blinking when you press the reset.
