Well i switch phones and transfer everything from my old phone to my new phone, im having troubles with my internet. Not getting the full speed of 1gig or even close to it, already unplugged cable box and router 3 times in the past 4 day. Im getting 500 to 400 mb down, today after terrrible day looked again i was getting 82 mb down and 32 up. So went to the netgear app and tried to login to and see what router getting for a ping, im unable to login as admin at all not for sure what password is! Went to netgear website login then did what it asked me to do, put in my serial number of the router it came to the asking my security password. Keep in mind made the account back in 2015, my question is how do i rest the security password. So that Im able to redo it and be able to get into my router?
Router is Netgear Nighthawk x10 R9000 If anyone can help ?

If you are talking about the wifi speed on your phone, 1 Gbps is unrealistic.
What is this cable box? A modem of some sort? What is it? Make and model?

What "website" is this? If you mean the controls for your router, that is not a Netgear website it is the browser graphical user interface.
If you are talking about access to the browser's graphical user interface (GUI), the router's controls, these are on the label for your device, along with the default wifi login details. The username is fixed at admin. The default password is password.
If you are trying to use the "password recovery" option, there is a bug in Netgear's implementation of password recovery on some devices. You can get locked into a closed loop.
If password recovery is enabled, but you have not set the answers to the questions, it keeps sending you back to the beginning of the process. If you haven't already given the thing your personal answers, they are not in its memory and it has no way of knowing if they are correct.
If the standard factory password (password) does not work, then you will have to factory reset the thing to get back to that. Then either disable password recovery (check the manual for your device) or provide some answers to those questions.How do I perform a factory reset on my NETGEAR router? | Answer | NETGEAR Support
Does the Model: GS810EMX|10 Port Nighthawk 10-Multigigabit Uplinks Ethernet Plus Switch in your footer have anything to do woth this. Or did you just pick the first thing that cane up?
